Code Of Conduct
At Junior’s Day Nursery we are committed to ensuring that children’s well-being and safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. As such we recognise the role that all members of staff play in ensuring that we are positive role models and that safeguarding best practice is at the core of all our values.
Junior’s Day Nursery believe that children and parents are entitled to expect courtesy and prompt, careful attention to their needs and wishes. Junior’s Day Nursery welcome suggestions on how to improve our nursery and will give prompt and serious attention to any concerns about the running of the nursery. Junior’s Day Nursery anticipate that most concerns will be resolved quickly, by an informal approach with the nursery manager. If this does not achieve the desired result, Junior’s Day Nursery have a set of procedures for dealing with concerns. Junior’s Day Nursery aim to bring all concerns about the running of our nursery to a satisfactory conclusion for all of the parties involved within 7 days of receipt of the complaint, be it verbal or written.
These guidelines are based on Public Health England and Department for Education guidance for educational settings and their key workers. The fundamental principle of this guidance is to ensure physical distancing between identified groups and to implement good hygiene practices. The design of the nurseries as relatively small communities for day care on non-domestic premises and further subdivided rooms, greatly assists our ability to create physical distance between groups and cluster children into specific cohorts or ‘bubbles’.
At Junior’s Day Nursery, we believe in open communication with all parents/carers and staff and are therefore presenting this fee’s policy in order to ensure that everyone fully understands our charging structure. Our fee structure is fully inclusive of all drinks and snacks, all meals relative to the session attended, nappies and wipes. We are open for 51 weeks a year, closing on Bank Holidays. Our Christmas break will be for 1 week plus the Bank Holidays. In addition, we reserve the right to hold 2 inset staff training days each year, advance notification will be given of the dates. Our fees do not include any outings, celebrations or entertainment that is in addition to our usual session activities.

This privacy notice describes how the Nursery collects and uses personal information about the children attending the Nursery and the parents of the Children, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Individual Health Plan
This form must be used alongside the individual child’s registration form which contains emergency parental contact and other personal details.
Junior’s Day Nursery provides an environment where all children, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) have access to broad and balanced learning experiences, through a creative and fully inclusive curriculum. We believe in giving all children the opportunity to develop to their full potential and provide equal access to those children who have individual learning needs.
These guidelines provide information about child protection and safeguarding procedures that must be observed by all staff. All staff should also have access to the document, ‘What to do if you are worried a child is being abused’ (2015).
Sickness and Illness
Junior’s Day Nursery follow the Health Protection Agency guidance on infection control and seek advice from them if necessary. Any notifiable illness with be reported to the HPA. Any serious illness will be reported to Ofsted.
