3 Mths - 2 Yrs
Our Teenie room can be found on the first floor and cares for babies from 3 months old, and benefits from being a large, bright open space, well equipped with educational and stimulating equipment and resources to assist in the development of your baby through their formative months.
From day one, you and your child will have a dedicated “key person” who ensures that all his/her/your needs are met throughout the day, whilst planning the next steps within your child’s development. We provide a separate sleep room for those all-important nap times, which is constantly monitored and temperature controlled. The EYFS curriculum is followed, encouraging learning through play which is supported by our routines and the different areas and opportunities within the room; construction area, sand and water play, story & singing time, and a messy play area for having fun and generally getting messy! Our Teenie children benefit from time spent exploring our sensory room, designed to support children with developing their sensory processing skills, vestibular and proprioceptive systems.
Meal times are a social event and whatever stage your baby is at we will ensure that balanced healthy meals are enjoyed. All children in the nursery have use of our four amazing garden areas; an all-weather “Den”, a sensory garden to dig and plant in, a large artificial grass area with tyre bank and huge sand pit, plus a separate decked area purpose built for our under two’s.
Staff ratios within this room are 1:3.
